Cheese Cutting Operator

Join our client—a respected Dutch cheese producer with a proud tradition dating back to 1896, when a local cooperative began producing cheese from fresh meadow milk. Today, the company is known for producing a wide range of cheeses for the Dutch and German markets – from young cheeses to mature cheeses, always made from high-quality local milk and handled with care.

You will work in the dry warehouse at a fixed temperature of 14–15°C, as part of an international team that values craftsmanship, precision, and teamwork.


Shifts:

  • From 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
  • From 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
  • From 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.

During the first few months, you will be scheduled for the first two shifts.

Responsibilities

  • Operating and maintaining machines used for cutting cheese
  • Cutting or grating blocks or wheels of cheese into smaller portions
  • Removing rinds manually or mechanically to reduce waste
  • Transporting boxes of cheese using an EPT
  • Cleaning and sharpening power tools in accordance with HACCP standards

Must Have

  • Good command of English or Dutch
  • Experience with EPT
  • A valid driving license
  • Good physical condition and ability to work in a warehouse environment
  • Experience in the food industry (similar position preferred)

Nice to have, but not required

  • Knowledge of HACCP procedures
  • Attention to detail and a passion for quality food
  • Additional languages

What We Offer

  • 17,23 € gross/hour as a starting rate

  • 130% bonus after 36 hours per week

  • 200% bonus on public holidays

  • 109,27% allowance for second shift

  • Stable full-time employment with long-term opportunities

  • Salary paid every 4 weeks, with the option of weekly advances
