Join our client, a respected Dutch meat production company operating modern beef and veal (calf) slaughterhouses across the Netherlands. The company places high importance on quality, food safety, and craftsmanship and offers stable work for professionals with experience in meat processing.

As a Deboner, you will focus on removing bones from beef and veal cuts while preserving meat quality, working in a chilled production environment where accuracy and efficiency are essential. 

Responsibilities

  • Deboning beef and veal with precision and speed
  • Carefully removing bones while preserving meat quality
  • Working with knives and tools safely and efficiently
  • Adhering to hygiene and food safety procedures (HACCP)
  • Collaborating with the production team to meet targets

Must Have

  • Previous experience in a slaughterhouse or meat production environment
  • Experience deboning beef or veal
  • Strong knife skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a cold environment

Nice to have

  • Experience with pork processing

Locations

Work locations include slaughterhouses in:

  • Apeldoorn

  • Epe

  • Olst

  • Andelst

Working Hours

  • Day shift: 06:00 – 15:00

    Additional allowances apply for early morning, evening, night work, and overtime.

Salary & Allowances

Starting salary from €15 - €17,50 net/hour, depending on experience.

Shift allowances:

  • 17% for work between 04:00–06:00 and 19:00–22:00

  • 35% for work between 22:00–04:00

Overtime:

  • 125% after 9 hours per day or 42 hours per week

  • 137.5% on Saturdays

Housing, Transport & Insurance

Accommodation arranged by the employer:

  • €96.65/week per person (shared room)
  • €135/week for living alone in a double room (subject to availability)
  • Maximum 2 people per room.
  • Accommodation types include houses, apartments, or hotels (always compliant with legal standards)
  • Accommodation does not include bedding, pillows, or dishes.

Transport to work is provided by the company and is free of charge. Travel to the Netherlands is not reimbursed.

Mandatory Dutch health insurance: €38.50/week
